We are recruiting: we are hiring a joiner in Union County, North Carolina. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
