Crawler crane operator wanted in Eaton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Eaton County, Michigan. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
