Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts The role involves: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
