Great opportunity: refrigeration field service technician (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in San Patricio County, Texas. You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Your main tasks: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Service split AC units and VRF systems At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
