We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Saline County, Nebraska. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
