Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto body repairer in LaSalle County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding You will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
