Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Johnston County, Oklahoma. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
