Join our team: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Florence County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners The role involves: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
