Argon arc welder wanted in Madera County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Madera County, California. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
