Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper.
