Bakery assistant • Hanson County, South Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Hanson County, South Dakota. The job is in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
