Sheet metal welder wanted in Northumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
