Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile fixer in Bibb County, Alabama. The role involves make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
