Lift mechanic • Dimmit County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Dimmit County, Texas. The role involves install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
