Immediate opening: glazing assistant (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Crockett County, Texas. You will be based on a high-rise facade project. Day to day you will fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
