Elevator service technician wanted in Cerro Gordo County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Run load and overload tests with test weights What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
