Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
