Heavy equipment operator — Rapides Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
