Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Navarro County, Texas. You will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off.
