Sand plant operator wanted in Orange County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Orange County, Texas. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Full-time with occasional weekends.
