Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Culpeper County, Virginia. The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
