Sand plant operator wanted in Potter County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Potter County, Texas. The role involves: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 2+ years on the tools preferred.
