Brickwork mason wanted in Somerset County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
