Wood machinist wanted in Oneida County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Oneida County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish The role involves cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
