Fettler — Pike County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Pike County, Indiana. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
