Gas installation technician — Unicoi County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Unicoi County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy gas installation company. You will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
