Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Oswego County, New York. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop On a typical shift you will wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
