Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Gladwin County, Michigan. You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade On the job you will handle: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Full-time, day shift.
