Laundry presser wanted in Dickinson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Dickinson County, Michigan. The job is at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
