Site safety steward • Ashland County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Ashland County, Ohio. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
