Plastering hand — Van Buren County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Van Buren County, Iowa. Day to day you will apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; check walls for plumb and level as you go; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets. Requirements: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 3+ years on the tools preferred.
