Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Oturkpo, Benue State. The job is on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
