Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass cutter in Orleans County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
