MIG/MAG welder — Badagry

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Badagry, Lagos State. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦90,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
