Argon welder — Orange County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Orange County, Indiana. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
