Join our team: we are hiring a brick mason in Lowndes County, Alabama. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
