Mechanical press operator wanted in Hughes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Hughes County, South Dakota. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Performance bonus on top of base pay.
