Great opportunity: vertical transportation technician (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in City of Bristol, Virginia. The job is in a residential tower block. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
