Lifting rigger wanted in Olmsted County

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Olmsted County, Minnesota. The job is on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams You will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit.
