Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Douglas County, South Dakota. You will work on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
