Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in San Benito County, California. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
