Quality control inspector • South Lanarkshire, Scotland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality control inspector in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is in an electronics assembly workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Willing to work rotating and night shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £1,750 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
