Falsework carpenter wanted in Columbia County

Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Columbia County, Arkansas. You will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
