Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day to day you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
