Metal caster wanted in Branch County

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Branch County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
