CO2 welder — Butler County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Butler County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
