Sand plant operator • Monmouth County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The job is on the moulding line. Day to day you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
