We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Lawrence County, Alabama. The role involves stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
