Great opportunity: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a spray booth. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to read and match factory paint codes 1+ years on the tools preferred.
