Paint and prep technician — Northwest Arctic Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy body shop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to read and match factory paint codes You will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss.
